FOLLOW FRIDAY (2)

Hi everyone!  Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and today's feature is Louise from Book Bliss.  You should go check out her site.  Besides being beautiful to look at, she's got some great reviews and giveaways!!

Here's this week's question:

Q. How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?

Okay, so I love, love, love to read...but I'm kinda slow :/  When I'm reading a book I'm not into, it's slow going b/c every page feels like pulling teeth.  On the other hand, when I'm reading something I love, I tend to slow it down and savor each scene, never wanting it to end.  So, my answer is probably small compared to everyone else's.  I read about 2 books every week (depending on length and level of interest), and I read them in hard copy.  Don't own an e-reader yet, not really planning to get one.  There's nothing like a real live book...and I've got too many beautiful bookmarks that need a home :)

I look forward to meeting more of you and hopping over to your blogs!!!

  1. I feel the exact same way as you do. Although, I didn't answer my question like that, lol. But, I read a lot faster when I'm really into the book.

I love giving my bookmarks homes too. I have a Kindle, but I've only read one book on it so far.

  2. Hey Ninja Girl!! I'm the same way when I'm reading a horrid book, but if it's a good book, I blaze through it and go through withdrawel symptoms until my next book fix..lol

    Happy FF Day!!

  4. So i'm an even slower reader than you. I read about 1 book a week because of my hectic schedule. But, if my husband is out of town for work I can usually read 3 or 4 books :)

  6. Yay, somebody's who's at my speed! I usually feel pretty inadequate when I hear about how much other readers/bloggers get through. But I honestly think more than 2 a week would lessen my enjoyment of the books - I just wouldn't really take them in if I were whizzing through them faster.

  9. Oh, thank you! I'm not alone! When I find a book I love, I trying to slow it down, too. Sadly, I find myself reading faster and faster, because I cannot seem to put it down!

  10. Unfortunately I just read fast, no matter how much I try to slow myself down. I still get everything in, though, I guess which is why I read as I do. But I can't agree more about having a paper copy in your hands. We have a Kindle but I barely use it.

  11. Hi Ninja Girl! :)
We're exactly the same! I don't know why, but actually having the book in your hands and turning the pages is so much better than eReaders. It's so nice to meet you!
